A trained beekeeper with 16 years of experience. He trains beekeepers, sells beekeeping equipment and hive products such as honey and bee wax. What motivated you to start the business? With a love for agriculture, my father was very active in farming in addition to being a professional driver. It made me develop a passion for nature and biodiversity: I became very passionate about beekeeping after SHS because I told myself I want to be an Agric entrepreneur. I started internet research on beekeeping and there I realized it has more benefits. I am the type who always wants to do something different and doesn't give up easily. The health benefits of beekeeping to humanitarian also motivated me. Any success chalked? Every year I train about 200 to 300 women and youth in beekeeping. I produce two tons of honey which are sold locally every year. Any challenges/lessons learned? Getting my permanent working area has become my challenge. Capital injection. How has the funding from the program helped your business? The funding received was used to purchase a truck and honey-making machine. The truck has made farm management very easy for me.
